Family Capacity Building Planner (FCBP)️

Our Family-Capacity Building Planner (FCBP)️ focuses on unlocking and maximising inherent family strengths. It's designed around seven key capacities that are critical for transcending poverty and realising long-term aspirations for economic and social well-being:
  • Caregiving & Empathy Fostering safe and enabling environments; building emotional connections, understanding and sharing of feelings and experiences.
  • Financial Capability: Managing finances to build a secure and stable economic future.
  • Health & Well-being: Maintaining physical and mental health and accessing healthcare services.
  • Executive Function: Organising, planning, and prioritising tasks effectively.
  • Future Navigation Skills: Acquiring new life skills and embracing fast-changing new digital era with a growth mindset.
  • Social Capital: Building bonding and cross-strata mutual support networks, trustful relationships amongst individuals and groups within transitional housing site and community at large.
  • Family Mobilisation: Family bonds and collective power propel individuals towards shared goals, fostering unity, amplifying strengths, and optimizing resources. Through mutual support and complementary efforts, families forge a formidable force, overcoming challenges and achieving success.
These capacities form the cornerstone of our approach, defining the rich tapestry of support tailored to the unique journey of each household. By embodying these principles and adapting to family-specific needs and aspirations, our FCBPs provide an empathetic and empowering partnership, guiding families to remarkable milestones of independence and success.

Family Capacity Building Fund

The Family Capacity Building Fund (FCBF) is one of the key initiatives to enhance the economic stability of the programme's families. It provides subsidies ranging from HKD 10,000 to HKD 20,000 based on the family size to achieve their goals. The Family Capacity Building Planner (FCBP)️ provides professional support in collaboration with families to jointly plan how to effectively utilize the fund to support their family and career development needs.

Jockey Club Level-Up Empowerment Employment Centre

The Jockey Club Level-Up Empowerment Employment Centre (JC LUE-EC) is dedicated to advancing the careers of low-skilled workers by fostering sustainable employment opportunities. By professionalising roles beyond traditional expectations and creating a new recruitment market focused on this demographic, LUE-EC aims to equip participants with the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed in today’s job market, ultimately transforming employment prospects for both workers and employers into a realm where empowerment and advancement are within reach for everyone. JC LUE-EC Services:
  • Empowerment Assessment and Coaching: Utilises a strengths-based assessment to develop career identities and provide individualized career coaching.
  • Upskilling: Recommends suitable courses, provides custom training programmes, and offers on-the-job consultation.
  • Job Opportunities: Curates diverse job openings and matches participants with suitable roles that offer growth potential.
  • Job Roles Creation: Innovates new or existing roles to improve career pathways and enhance job prospects.
